»» Tarangire National Park is well known for its big groups of elephants and the huge amount of giant baobab trees. These trees are actually a source of water for elephants in the dry season as they have a special technique to draw water from them. Besides, the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the dry season, which is why in this season in Tarangire you can see groups of up to 250 elephants next to many more animals!

- The Camp is Situated in the heart of Tarangire National Park overseeing Tarangire River and close to Kuro Airstrip this camp has a 180º view towards Tarangire Hill. Only 5 Km away from Silale Swamp Plains where Elephants gather in their thousands regularly, Tarangire is also famous for it’s large concentration of Big Cats and tree climbing Pythons, even Kudus and the very elusive Oryx can be seen here. Allowing for waking Safaris and Night Game Drives this is the place to experience the bush in it’s full splendour.
